Who is this World Famous Secretary, you ask?

In 1981 there was a serial radio program that was taped but rarely aired. The program’s leading lady, The World Famous Secretary, was at once professional and disarming. She worked for “Mr. Hitler” for whom she made even the most mundane of her daily tasks good-listening for her audience.

One day her Mother overheard her taking dictation from her boss and asked with whom she was speaking, “To my boss, Mr. Hitler. Also, ssssshhhh! We’re on air!” TWFS’ Mother told her in no uncertain terms that her boss was a very bad man and she should find a new one. The World Famous Secretary took her Mother’s advice and immediately moved on to other projects. All that remained of The World Famous Secretary was a tape. Then even that disappeared.

After twenty-eight years off-the-air, The World Famous Secretary resurfaced in 2012 in the service of correspondents in Cambridge, MA & Philadelphia, PA.

Now, in 2021, the covid-imposed need for alternatives to in-person rendezvous brings her back again – and this time she works for you.
