writ in sugar, butter, flour, eggs... is an homage to all who came before us and left behind ideas that nourish and teach us, literally. From their ideas our own take root and grow, for us and those who come later.

This project only features three food lovers whose committment to putting food in others bellies has outlived them. And yet, there are hundreds, if not thousands or millions more out there who deserve this recognition. Please let this be a celebration, not only of eminent chefs, cookbook authors and inventors, but of everyone who has fed us and all who we will nourish in turn.
